Pesquisa quantiqualitativa que objetivou descrever as matrizes das concepções de educação em saúde dos enfermeiros que atuam em unidades de internação hospitalar. Adotou-se o método criativo sensível para a produção dos dados, desenvolvendo-se dinâmicas de criatividade e sensibilidade, com 10 enfermeiras de unidades de internação de um hospital-escola do sul do Brasil em 2010. Os dados foram submetidos à análise de discurso. Os resultados apontaram que as concepções de educação em saúde das enfermeiras tiveram suas matrizes nas raízes socioculturais familiares, moldando-se na academia e nas vivências cotidianas. Percebeu-se a presença do modelo tradicional na concepção de educação em saúde dos sujeitos, com marcas discursivas de uma prática crítica/emancipatória. Recomenda-se investimento em educação permanente que valorize a experiência/vivência dos profissionais, almejando um modelo de educação crítico emancipatório.
ABSTRACT
Quantitative-qualitative research aiming at describing the matrices of nurses’ conceptions of health education in the hospital context and discussing their implications in daily practice. The creative sensitive method and dynamics were used in data production with 10 nurses from in-patient units of a teaching hospital in southern Brazil, in 2010. Data were submitted to discourse analysis. Results showed that perceptions of health education held by the nurses were rooted in the family social cultural matrix, and were further shaped in their school years and everyday experience. The traditional model of health education with discursive marks of a critical emancipating practice stood out in the participants’ conceptions. Investment in continuing education is recommended for the enhancement of professionals’ experience, targeting a model of critical emancipating education.
RESUMEN
Investigación cuanticualitativa que tuvo como objetivo describir las matrices de las concepciones de educación para la salud de enfermeras que trabajan en unidades de internación hospitalaria. Se adoptó el método creativo sensible para producción de los datos con el desarrollo de dinámicas de creatividad y sensibilidad, con 10 enfermeras de las unidades de hospitalización de un hospital universitario en el Sur de Brasil en 2010. Los datos fueron sometidos al análisis de discurso. Los resultados mostraron que las percepciones de la educación en salud de las enfermeras tuvieron sus matrices en las raíces socioculturales de la familia, tomando forma en el mundo académico y en las experiencias cotidianas. Se observó la presencia del modelo tradicional en el concepto de educación en salud de los sujetos, con marcas discursivas de una práctica crítica/emancipadora. Es recomendable la inversión en educación continua que valore la experiencia de los profesionales, apuntando a un modelo de educación crítico emancipador.
