Educação em saúde de pacientes portadores de insuficiência cardíaca [Health education of patients with heart failure]

Trata-se de uma revisão bibliográfica na modalidade sistemática, enfocando estudos que abordam a temática relacionada à intervenção de enfermagem permeada em ações educativas a pacientes com insuficiência cardíaca (IC). Os objetivos propostos pelo estudo foram analisar as abordagens das publicações encontradas sobre educação em saúde, através de consultas de enfermagem, ao paciente com insuficiência cardíaca. A estratégia de busca ocorreu através do Portal CAPES nas bases de dados LILACS, SciELO, SCOPUS, PUBMED e Web of Science. O levantamento bibliográfico abrangeu as publicações nacionais e internacionais, de janeiro de 1995 a julho de 2012. Foram selecionados 30 artigos. Entre as principais abordagens envolvendo a educação em saúde e ações de enfermagem a pacientes com IC, destacam-se a educação para o conhecimento da doença, monitorização dos sinais e sintomas de descompensação, orientação para o uso de medicamentos e educação para aderência a medidas não farmacológicas.
ABSTRACT
This is a bibliographic review on a systematic modality, focusing on nursing intervention and educational actions to patients with heart failure (HF). The study aimed at analyzing approaches to health education focused on nursing care to patients with heart failure. Search strategy was done at Portal Capes Lilacs, SciELO, SCOPUS, PUBMED, and Web of Science bases. The bibliographic survey covered up national and international publications from January, 1995, to July, 2012. Thirty (30) articles were selected. Among the main approaches involving health education and nursing care to patients with HF, disease awareness, signs and symptoms monitoring for decompensation, guidance for medication use, and adherence education for non-pharmacological measures were highlighted.
RESUMEN
Esta es una revisión bibliográfica bajo la modalidad sistemática, centrándose en estudios que abordan el tema relacionado con la intervención de enfermería en acciones educativas a pacientes con insuficiencia cardiaca (IC). Los objetivos propuestos en el estudio fueron analizar los enfoques de las publicaciones encontradas sobre educación en salud, a través de consulta de enfermería a pacientes con insuficiencia cardíaca. La estrategia de búsqueda se realizó en Portal Capes basado en LILACS, SciELO, SCOPUS, PUBMED y Web of Science. El estudio bibliográfico abarcó publicaciones nacionales e internacionales, desde enero de 1995 hasta julio de 2012. Se seleccionaron 30 artículos. Entre los principales enfoques relacionados con la educación salud y acciones de enfermería a pacientes con IC se destacan la educación para el conocimiento de la enfermedad, monitoreo de los signos y síntomas de descompensación, guía para el uso de medicamentos y educación de la adhesión a medidas no farmacológicas.
