[ÉM EDIÇÃO] Tuberculose e os programas de transferência de renda no contexto social indígena da Amazônia paraense

Objetivo: analisar a associação da tuberculose entre indígenas beneficiários de programas de transferência de renda e os determinantes sociais da saúde. Métodos: estudo transversal, analítico de abordagem quantitativa, realizado com 548 casos de tuberculose entre indígenas do estado do Pará, no período de 2014 a 2023, coletando dados socioambientais, submetidos a análise descritiva e inferencial. Protocolo de pesquisa aprovado pelo Comitê de Ética. Resultados: entre 548 casos, 161 eram beneficiários de programas de transferência de renda. Houve associação entre ser beneficiário e condições como ser alfabetizado, ter acesso à rede geral de abastecimento de água, possuir fossa séptica e banheiro no domicílio. Conclusões: a associação de determinantes sociais da saúde desfavoráveis com os casos de tuberculose entre os beneficiários de programas de transferência de renda reforça o contexto de vulnerabilidade indígena e a necessidade de políticas integradas de saúde, educação e assistência social para minimizar as desigualdades.
