This experience report aims to present, reflect upon, and weave sensitive discussions, based on a set of actions developed by a Pre-School V class, at a Child Education Center (CEI) in the city of Fortaleza/CE. As a poetic, aesthetic, and sensitive motto, we had the "yellow butterflies of the park" as our guides, providing us with a conversational, artistic, and playful journey. Through their wings, we embarked on a pedagogy of listening and relationships (Malaguzzi, 2016), exercised varied children's expressive languages (Gobbi; Pinazza, 2014) and delved into children's literature (Carle, 2011). With this "flâneur-like" movement, we were able to cultivate and connect with the hypotheses, theories, and sensitivities that boys and girls shared in circle time, in play, and in expressiveness. Therefore, we consider that listening to children, woven into a horizontal pedagogical routine, are sources for the creation of experiences with meaning, openness, and (trans)mutation in Early Childhood Education (ECE).
