This text is the result of a conversation with artist and educator Ana Angélica Albano about her career as a teacher in both primary education and at university. Reflecting on her experiences, Ana Angélica sheds light on her memories, revisits them, and brings to the surface some themes about the importance of art in teacher training that, even after several years, are still relevant and worthy of reflection. Ana Angélica challenges us to think about the education and training of early childhood educators from the perspective of: Look where the child looks! An inspiring teacher for anyone who wants to work with art in early childhood education.
