The Journal Em Pauta: teoria social e realidade contemporânea is a scientific publication of the Social Work Program of the UERJ (Rio de Janeiro State University) and the Graduate Program in Social Work. Its focus is geared towards the understanding of socio-historical determinations and contradictions that involve the politics and world of work spheres, with emphasis on the social struggles in Brazil and in American-Hispanic countries. Em Pauta journal is an opportunity for the exchange of ideas and criticism produced in different contexts and continents, besides being a channel for debate and dialogue on the profession’s fundamentals and experiences.
