Abstract

A research, teaching and extension group that aims to promote mental health is presented, indicating the articulation between research, intervention, and scientific dissemination projects. Based on the research projects, which support the teaching and extension, information is offered on social media, which aims to provide guidance and management of emotions and interpersonal relationships, discussing characteristics of the transition from adolescence to emerging adulthood, in its relational contexts, in addition to lectures/live sessions for schools and universities, aiming to clarify this phase and to disseminate a psychoeducational project. The objective of this experience report is to tell the story of the feeling/doing of this proposal for articulation between research and interventions, from the coordinator's point of view and with the participants' reports. From this perspective, four challenges are presented: (1) Theoretical; (2) Methodological; (3) Training; and (4) Clinical intervention. The positive evaluations of the participants indicate how the activities have added learning for the understanding of emotions/relationships in research and in personal life. In conclusion, the need for continuous improvement is recognized, hoping that the group will develop new forms of support and empowerment, in order to promote mental health.
