This article presents a segment of a research project conducted at the Faculty of Education of the University of Brasília. It examines the dynamics of an Early Childhood Education school located in the periphery of the Federal District, grounded in the Theory of Subjectivity. The objective is to analyze the emergence of the school as a collective subject, while also highlighting the potential of collaborative pedagogical work and the relevance of subjectivity in strengthening educational practices. The methodological framework was based on Qualitative Epistemology and the Constructive-Interpretative Method. The theoretical model outlined three axes of intelligibility: (a) belonging and appreciation: the ethnic-racial approach within the school’s Political-Pedagogical Project; (b) valuing local diversity: the articulation between school and community, with a focus on peripheral culture; and (c) affective involvement in the implementation of integrated pedagogical work with the participation of diverse educational agents. The results reveal the development of a plural and decolonial pedagogical practice. The school emerged as a space of empowerment, fostering inclusion and strengthening community ties. By assuming the condition of a collective subject, the institution played a crucial role in promoting socially validated education and contributed to building a collective identity within the scope of public Early Childhood Education policy.
