Abstract

“Escritas Subversivas” is a platform for literary production and dissemination that explores the relationships among gender, territory, and cultural identity in the Baixada Fluminense. The research focuses on female authorship, highlighting its contribution to the creation of new representations and promoting the circulation of narratives that reshape spaces for writing and reading. In this context, literature becomes a means of critical articulation and expanding the debate on cultural production and knowledge. Through female authorship, the project aims to give visibility to the literary production of women from Baixada, contributing to the transformation of cultural and social imaginaries. Literature offers new ways of telling stories, breaking stigmas, and reshaping the perception of territories. By investing in writing that engages with local realities, “Escritas Subversivas” strengthens representativeness and promotes literature as a cultural heritage, essential for valuing marginalized voices.
