ALÉM DO BURACO NEGRO: discursos misóginos sobre a mulher cientista no Instagram

Este texto analisa comentários produzidos na rede social Instagram acerca da notícia em torno da descoberta do buraco negro pela cientista norte-americana Katie Bouman, em abril de 2019. O objetivo consiste em analisar como esses comentários inserem-se no âmbito de uma prática discursiva misógina a qual concebe a mulher como um sujeito indigno a ocupar um lugar no campo científico. O corpus de análise é composto por oito comentários retirados dos perfis @comecorda e @uoloficial no Instagram. Para fundamentar as análises, parte-se principalmente da perspectiva teórica de Michel Foucault acerca do discurso, do enunciado, da prática discursiva, do saber e poder. Do ponto de vista metodológico, tem-se um estudo descritivo-interpetrativo de natureza qualitativa. As análises permitem observar que os comentários acerca da descoberta de Katie Bouman assinalam-se por efeitos de uma misoginia responsável por reduzir o feito científico da pesquisadora ao capricho de uma mulher curiosa, sexualizar o corpo feminino e descredibilizar o trabalho desenvolvido pela cientista.
