UM DIÁLOGO COM VOLÓCHINOV E FREIRE SOBRE ALTERIDADE, EDUCAÇÃO E LINGUAGEM NO CONTEXTO DAS FRONTEIRAS LINGUÍSTICAS PARA A AQUISIÇÃO DO PORTUGUÊS COMO LÍNGUA ADICIONAL NA AMAZÔNIA BRASILEIRA

O objetivo deste estudo é identificar aproximações teóricas entre Volóchinov (2017) (Círculo de Bakhtin) e Freire (1991), a partir de suas reflexões sobre alteridade, educação e linguagem, para verificar de que forma esses autores contribuem para um olhar crítico sobre as fronteiras linguísticas vivenciadas pelos povos indígenas Wai-wai (Karib), na aquisição do português como língua adicional na Amazônia brasileira. Metodologicamente, caracteriza-se como um Estudo de Caso do Tipo Etnográfico, cuja abordagem é qualitativa, realizado na Aldeia Mapura, junto a cinco sujeitos indígenas, utilizando-se como recurso de pesquisa a entrevista semiestruturada. Os dados foram analisados a partir de duas subcategorias analíticas: manipulação do discurso e negação da alteridade; e posição de poder e resistência na inserção social, as quais dialogam com categorias: alteridade, educação e linguagem. O estudo faz aproximações como a base teórica de reflexão Análise Crítica do Discurso (FAIRCLOUGH, 2001). Os resultados mostram que os povos indígenas Wai-wai resistiram historicamente à manipulação do discurso e à negação da alteridade, engendrados pelos missionários norte-americanos, ocupando, nessa relação, um lugar de poder e resistência contra as ideologias monolíngues, levando-os a desenvolver estratégias comunicativas que lhes auxiliaram na aquisição da língua portuguesa como língua adicional.
