THE PRE-COLLEGE FOR BLACKS AND NEEDY (PVNC) AND THE CONSTRUCTION OF ETHNIC IDENTITY

The study aimed to investigate the relationship between experience in PVNC and university and the construction of a specific ethnic identity, the black identity in a group of Pre -College graduates for Blacks and Needy. From the study, we identified the history and discourse of the subjects the influence of his journey in the construction of black identity. The experience in PVNC influenced the construction of ethnic identity of respondents and collaborated so that they have some sense of belonging to the group.
