FROM THE EPIC GENRE TO THE PRODUCTION OF A FILM SCRIPT: A RETEXTUALIZATION WORK IN THE SIXTH YEAR OF ELEMENTARY SCHOOL

The main objective of this article is to present propositional bibliographic research carried out within the scope of PROFLETRAS, which has as its object the teaching of the epic genre, based on two official documents: the Matrix of Priority Contents for Elementary Education, from the Municipal Department of Education of the Municipality of Nova Iguaçu, and the National Common Curricular Base (BNCC). Intended for sixth-grade students, it presents a sequence of activities – reading the epic Odyssey (HOMERO,2023), both in the classic format and in its retextualization in other genres, with the final proposal being the production of a text in the film script genre for the production of a video using the stop-motion technique. The main objective of the research, therefore, is to work with the epic literary genre, retextualizing it in other genres, such as comics and film scripts, thus expanding the student's literary literacy, theoretically based on the studies of Marcuschi (2010), Dell'Issola (2007), Cosson (2021), Solé (2014), among other theorists.
