Uma proposta prática de ensino em Geografia

Attending the school routine, as an intern in the 6th grade class, in elementary school and scholarship holder of Scientific Initiation of the FAPERJ project “School-community in the center of the scene and local history: pedagogical actions to remember, learn and create in Imbariê in Baixada Fluminense”, I was able to observe and understand part of the context of a municipal teaching unit located in the district of Imbariê, Duque de Caxias-RJ. In the experience, problems were identified in the students' learning in the teaching of Geography, in which it presents with delays and deficits. Thus, as a way of trying to contribute to the smoothing of these problems, I proposed the Map of Socio-environmental Inequalities, an activity in cartography in order to develop students' skills and their geographic thinking.
