[EM EDIÇÃO] Representação social do HIV para usuários da profilaxia pré-exposição (PReP)

Objetivo: analisar a representação social do HIV entre pessoas em uso da profilaxia pré-exposição. Método: estudo qualitativo, descritivo e exploratório, fundamentado na Teoria das Representações Sociais em sua abordagem estrutural. Realizado em um Centro Municipal de Saúde de Duque de Caxias, utilizou a técnica de evocação livre de palavras com o termo indutor HIV. O corpus foi organizado em planilha para construção do dicionário de evocações e processado no software Evoc®, que gerou o quadro de quatro casas e subsidiou a análise de similitude. Protocolo aprovado pelo Comitê de Ética em Pesquisa. Resultados: participaram 67 usuários de PrEP. Preconceito foi o termo de maior centralidade, articulado a medo, tratamento e doença. Elementos como prevenção, cuidado, sofrimento e desinformação compuseram zonas periféricas, revelando tensões entre sentidos estigmatizantes e conteúdos associados à prevenção. Conclusão: apesar dos avanços biomédicos, o estigma permanece estruturante na representação social do HIV, limitando a plena ressignificação promovida pela PrEP.
