[EM EDIÇÃO] O autocuidado da pessoa após Acidente Vascular Cerebral: um estudo qualitativo

Abstract

Objetivo: analisar as percepções das pessoas doentes sobre o autocuidado após Acidente Vascular Cerebral na cidade do Huambo, Angola. Método: estudo qualitativo com 17 pessoas, de um Centro de Medicina e Reabilitação Física. Entrevistas realizadas entre dezembro de 2024 e maio de 2025, gravadas e transcritas. Dados analisados com apoio do software WebQDA®. Protocolo de pesquisa aprovado pelo comitê de ética. Resultados: as pessoas falam da vida após a doença marcada pela experiência e dificuldades no autocuidado. Valorizam a educação e capacitação e os recursos para o autocuidado como elementos importantes para a sua reabilitação ou readaptação funcional. Considerações finais: as perceções reforçam a necessidade de intervenções de enfermagem, nomeadamente psicoeducativas abrangentes para a gestão terapêutica e controlo de risco, focando-se na capacitação para o autocuidado, no apoio aos cuidadores e na reintegração sociofamiliar, adaptadas ao contexto individual e sociocultural, que promovam a autonomia, a redução da dependência e a melhoria da qualidade de vida após-AVC.
