Trata-se de um estudo descritivo de caso clínico, com abordagem qualitativa, o qual possui como objetivo estabelecer relações entre os diagnósticos de enfermagem da NANDA-I e os problemas de adaptação segundo o Modelo Teórico de Roy em um paciente prostatectomizado. A coleta de dados ocorreu em um hospital universitário localizado na cidade de Natal-RN, no mês de janeiro de 2011, por meio de um roteiro de entrevista e exame físico. Os diagnósticos que apresentaram relações entre a NANDA-I e o Modelo de Roy foram: dor, ansiedade, constipação, sono, atividade, volume de líquido e infecção. Conclui-se que grande parte dos problemas adaptativos segundo o Modelo de Roy, manifestados pelos pacientes no pós-operatório de prostatectomia, possuem semelhança com os diagnósticos da NANDA-I.
ABSTRACT
his qualitative, descriptive study of a clinical case aimed to establish relations between NANDA-I nursing diagnosis and problems of adaptation according to the Roy theoretical model in a prostatectomy patient. Data were collected at a University Hospital in Natal, Rio Grande do Norte, in January 2011, through scripted interview and physical examination. Diagnoses showing a relation between NANDA-I and Roy Model were: pain, anxiety, constipation, sleep, activity, fluid volume; and infection. It is concluded that the adaptive problems on the Roy model manifested by the postoperative prostatectomy patient are largely similar to the NANDA- I diagnoses.
RESUMEN
Este es un estudio descriptivo de caso clínico, con enfoque cualitativo, que tiene como objetivo establecer relaciones entre los diagnósticos de enfermería de la NANDA-I y los problemas de adaptación de acuerdo con el Modelo Teórico de Roy en un paciente prostatectomizado. La recolección de datos ocurrió en un hospital universitario en la ciudad de Natal-RN-Brasil, en enero de 2011, a través de un guión de entrevista y examen físico. Las relaciones entre los diagnósticos NANDA-I y el Modelo de Roy fueron: dolor, ansiedad, estreñimiento, sueño, actividad, volumen de líquido e infección. Se concluye que la mayor parte de los problemas de adaptación, de acuerdo com el Modelo de Roy, expresados por los pacientes en el postoperatorio de prostatectomía, tienen similitud con los diagnósticos de la NANDA-I.
