Este breve artículo presenta la opinión de que la teoría Lipman/Sharp del pensamiento crítico, creativo y solidario está prosperando, habiendo sido adaptada y desarrollada aún más en el contexto australiano debido a las innovaciones de Splitter, Cam y otros. Las aplicaciones e innovaciones continúan. La evidencia de la historia de P4C en Australia se detalla en Burgh & Thornton (2016) y Burgh & Thornton (2018). Este artículo proporciona un complemento a estos trabajos, destacando un estudio de caso de una iniciativa conjunta más reciente que sitúa esta teoría en el centro de la enseñanza, el aprendizaje y el bienestar de los estudiantes que imparten el plan de estudios australiano en Nueva Gales del Sur (NSW).
