The methodological strategies were based on Freirian Education, such as : Generator topics, dialogic circles, creation of cards with the meaning of each word, as well as African games. This is a bibliographical and documentary research based on authors who deal with the subject, including: Freire (1987, 1996, 2015), Kashindi (2017), Oliveira (2015), Sacavino (2016), Walsh (2009), Candau (2008), Fleuri (2006), Ramose (1999), Tutu (2023) and the Report of Activities of the Dialogical meetings, held in 2024 at a public school. High-lighted results are: The strengthening of the children’s sense of belonging and identity, who realized that African games are part of their Community life experiences; and that through play, children identified the principles of the Ubuntu philosophy and its educational dimension in dialogue with Freirean Education.
