Abstract

This study investigates the feasibility of obtaining high-quality continuing education for free, using Open Educational Resources (OER) platforms. Focusing on formative potentialities, the research centers on the analysis of the Avamec Platform. Adopting a mixed-method approach, combining quantitative and qualitative methods, the study employs the netnographic method for immersion in the Avamec Platform. The results reveal a growing demand for continuing education in recent years, especially for improvement courses offered by the platform. Data analysis suggests that it is possible to obtain a quality continuing education experience flexibly through Open Educational Resources. This study contributes to understanding how platforms like Avamec can play a crucial role in offering effective continuing education. We conclude that the integration of OER into educational platforms can be a promising strategy for promoting continuous learning in an accessible and high-quality manner.
