Explorando o potencial do ChatGPT-3 como uma ferramenta para a tomada de decisões clínicas relacionadas a terapêutica medicamentosa em odontopediatria

Avaliou-se o potencial do ChatGPT-3 como ferramenta clínica na terapêutica medicamentosa em odontopediatria, analisando a qualidade das respostas fornecidas. Foram feitas 45 perguntas sobre a forma terapêutica mais indicada (n=1), analgésicos (AN, n=17), anti-inflamatórios (AI, n=17) e anestésicos locais (AL, n=10) em diferentes cenários clínicos. As respostas foram analisadas quanto à precisão (0 a 5), completude (0 a 2), objetividade (0 a 2) e pontuação total (0 a 9). Os grupos de medicamentos foram comparado pelo teste de Kruskal-Wallis (α=5%). A média ± desvio padrão da pontuação total foi de 3.71±2.58, e a mediana ± desvio interquartílico dos escores de precisão, completude e objetividade foi de 3.0±3.0, 1±1.0 e 0.0±0.0, respectivamente. A maioria das respostas relacionadas a AN foram classificadas como ‘mais correta que incorreta’ (n=7, 41.18%) e ‘adequadas’ (n=9, 52.94%); as respostas sobre AI foram consideradas ‘mais incorreta que correta’ (n=4, 23.53%) ou ‘completamente correta’ (n=4, 23.53%) e ‘incompleta’ (n=9, 52.94%); a maioria das respostas sobre AL (n=7, 41.18%) foram classificadas como ‘completamente incorreta’ e ‘incompleta’ (n=9, 52.94%). As respostas sobre AL receberam menores escores para precisão (p=0.009) e completude (p=0.020), bem como menor pontuação total (p=0.016), em relação às respostas para AN. O grupo de medicamento não influenciou nos escores de objetividade (p=0.502), a maioria das respostas não foram objetivas e apresentaram ‘muita quantidade (>50%) de informações extras’; AN (n=16, AI (n=15, 88.24%) AL (n=10, 100%). Clinicamente, esta ferramenta deve ser utilizada com cautela e não deve ser a única fonte para terapêutica medicamentosa em Odontopediatria.
