Abstract: This article seeks to analyze data from civil conciliation hearings held by the Judicial Center for the Resolution of Conflicts and Citizenship, CEJUSC, of the District of Mossoró between the months of June 2017 and May 2019. In view of the discussions on access to justice, as well as the implementation of the conflict resolution policy in the Judiciary, through Resolution no. 125 of the National Council of Justice, it is necessary to verify the results from these policies. Initially, the text presents notes on access to justice. Then, it starts to address the consensual means of conflict resolution, focusing on mediation and conciliation. Subsequently, it begins to expose a brief description about the implementation of the consensual policy in CEJUSC of the District of Mossoró, Rio Grande do Norte. Finally, the analysis of the data obtained in the research is exposed. The methodology, in addition to being documentary and bibliographic, relies on data from the hearings in the referred CEJUSC. Despite the growing policy of consensualization of conflicts, there is a low rate of agreements made, thus presenting some weaknesses of this policy, such as the lack of skill and interest of the actors involved in the conciliation process.
