Abstract

Partindo da análise hipotético-dedutiva do problema acerca da centralismo no Estado federal brasileiro, a presente pesquisa busca expor três estudos críticos redigidos por especialistas, que versam de temas tais como: distinções entre federalismo e Estado Federal; o princípio da senda federalista no Brasil; o cunho centralizado e nominal do federalismo brasileiro; a particularidade do Município como ente federal; as problemáticas do federalismo fiscal; o federalismo em crise; e, por fim a relação entre sociedade e federalismo. Com intuito de expor dentro das formulações metodológicas condizentes, serão apontados estes aspectos que reforçam o caráter renegado do Pacto por parte dos mandatários do Poder Central. Por fim, demonstra-se que problemas antigos das relações federativas no Brasil permanecem após a promulgação da Constituição de 1988.
