Abstract

This work consists of reflecting on the phenomenon of juvenile killing understood as the systematic death of youth due to the numerous rights violations to which they are subjected throughout their trajectories. It analyzes this expression of the social issue from the reality of Angola, considering juvenile mortality as a historical practice, but which, in recent years, has gained large proportions. It emphasizes the process of invisibilization of this phenomenon in the country, being poorly linked in official media, or, when this process is made visible, it occurs through stereotypes of youth, placing the victims as guilty of the violent situation to which they are exposed. This is a bibliographic and documentary research, with a qualitative approach, using the historical-dialectical materialism method. It presents the need for the creation of public policies that are effective for the lives of Angolan youth, and the materialization of the protection and care structure constitutionally provided for this segment of the population.
