The new morphology of work and educational work: initial notes

Abstract

These are notes — with a theoretical basis, from bibliographical research, on the new morphology of work and educational work — constituents of the research developed under the title “The ethical-political dimension of the right to freedom of teach for teaching in Basic Education.” The text is divided into two subthemes: “The new morphology of work in production and services”, which aims to explain what has changed (and under what conditions) in the scope of work, as well as to emphasize the continued validity of the theory of value in the face of capital’s monopolization of human activities from which no surplus value was extracted; and “The ethical-political dimension of educational work as a profession”, which seeks to explain the existence of such a dimension by the analogy between educational work as a profession and social service as a profession.
