Abstract

In addition to the rapid development of technology, we have seen the growth of young digital influencers who share their lives on social media every day. Based on this premise, this qualitative article, based on a literature review, discusses how the early work of digital influencers on Instagram materializes, understanding it as a form of neglecting children. When entering the virtual environment, these individuals are faced with several problems, including overexposure, violation of privacy, lack of protection of their image, the imposition of work routines, and the State's inaction in the face of this new expression of early work. Although there are legal limitations, these are often circumvented, favoring the maintenance of capitalist logic and the intensification of abuses against the fundamental rights of children and adolescents on digital platforms.
