This paper aims to analyze the rhetorical nature of Carl Schmitt's works published during the Weimar Republic, in order to demonstrate the association between such works meanings and the purpose of his theoretical interventions. The hypothesis herein investigated is based on the anti-republicanism of Schmitt's conceptual production which has been clearly revealed at the decisive moment of Weimar Constitution and Republic, the 1932 coup against Prussian government whose legitimacy Schmitt has participated in two ways: directly, by his political and juridical coup's defense, and indirectly, by the theses spread in his intellectual activity which weakened the Weimar Republic legitimacy.
