Resumo
Este artigo apresenta a geografia jurídica crítica como uma vertente de pesquisa sobre as intersecções entre normatividade e espacialidade. Suas origens e trajetórias são retratadas considerando as múltiplas possibilidades que oferece, com foco na contribuição específica para os estudos sociojurídicos. Partindo disso, problematizam-se categorias teóricas úteis para investigar empiricamente as relações entre direito e espaço.

Abstract
This work presents critical legal geography as a stream of scholarship on the intersections between normativity and spatiality. The origins and trajectories of legal geography are portrayed considering the multiple possibilities it offers, with a focus on its specific contribution to sociolegal research. Based on this, theoretical categories that are useful to investigate the relations between law and space empirically are problematized.
