Resumo
Este artigo apresenta uma abordagem sociojurídica para análise da institucionalização dos mercados. Sugere-se a importância da dimensão jurídica para análise das instituições e das disputas políticas em mercados, além de delinear um framework para
futuras pesquisas. Metodologicamente, trata-se de um exercício de organizar – de modo crítico, mas articulado – trabalhos da sociologia dos mercados e da sociologia do direitoe da economia.

Abstract
This paper presents a socio-legal approach to analyze the institutionalization of markets.The paper suggests the relevance of the legal dimension for the analyses of markets institutions and political struggles, as well as outlines a framework for future research. Methodologically, the paper aims to bridge different insights through a – critical but constructive – dialogue of workson the sociology of markets and the sociology of law and the economy.
