Resumen
El capitalismo intrínsecamente requiere inequidad, violencia, extractivismo, destrucción y muerte. Urge buscar alternativas. Una de las alternativas al capitalismo es el sumak kawsay, que es un sistema de vida que recoge las experiencias y el saber indígena como los saberes emancipatorios de occidente. En el Yasuní, como estudio de caso, se pueden observar las contradicciones del sistema capitalista y las potencialidades del sumak kawsay que lo viven los pueblos en aislamiento.

Abstract
Capitalism requires inequity, violence, extractivism, destruction, and death. It is urgent to look for alternatives. One alternative to capitalism is sumak kawsay, which is a system of life based on indigenous peolples experiences and knowledge, and emancipatory knowledge of the West. In Yasuní, as a case study, we can observe the contradictions of the capitalist system and the potentialities of sumak kawsay experienced by people live in isolation.
