Its elucidation requires a field study that encompasses public administration, economics, political science, law, philosophy, anthropology, sociology, among other areas. Therefore, due to the complexity of the subject, there is not a single meaning of corruption. Moreover, its consequences are the most diverse. However, what to do to repress corruption? Constitutionalism, a political and legal movement, becomes relevant in the fight against corruption in the world. Understanding the impact of the Constitution in promoting transparency and accountability can be an element of the anti-corruption plan. Accountability and democratic responsibility, emerges as a possible element in the plan to combat corruption.
