This article analyzes the different options available to spouses in Spain when they wish to separate or divorce by mutual agreement, processing their case before the courts. Specifically, two options are analyzed: the regulatory agreement and prenuptial agreements; from the legal point of view. In this sense, it is shown the reality at a national level but also regionally; issue that singles out this issue
in the Spanish judicial system.
