Abstract

The objective of this text is to reflect on the educational work of the school, having as reference the educational organization proposed by Secretaria Estadual de Educação de Goiás, in the period of social isolation, especially the first year of the COVID-19 pandemic. We intend to problematize the trend of the education networks, especially in Goiás, in appropriating, in the post-social isolation period, organizations and educational practices that were necessary in the period of isolation, but which go against the nature of educational work. To this end, we have to consider two conceptual bases: the foundations of neoliberalism and the nature of educational work, using theorists such as Saviani (1991), Paro (2010) and Harvey (2014); in addition to Ventura and Reis (2021) as scientific references to the analysis of the pandemic management model in Brazil during the year of 2020. With regard to the exhibition, the work will be organized into three parts: the relationship between neoliberalism and the management of the pandemic in Brazil; the Educational Work, fundamentals and precariousness in times of pandemic; and the disagreements in the organization of Educational Work in Goiás and the intensification of precariousness of teaching work in the pandemic. As a synthesis, we apprehend that the educational work developed in the period of social isolation cannot be the rule for the post-pandemic, because it tends to deny the nature of it, intensifying the precariousness of work and the worker in education and denying the public education system.
