O PERFIL DO PEDAGOGO SOCIAL NO CENTRO DE REFERÊNCIA DE ASSISTÊNCIA SOCIAL – CRAS

The present investigation aims to propose a reflection on the role of the pedagogue in non-formal educational spaces, specifically in the Social Assistance Reference Center – CRAS, differentiating the specifications of the pedagogical work of this professional within these environments. This research seeks to reflect on the role of the Pedagogue within Social Assistance spaces, especially in the Coexistence and Bond Strengthening Service – SCFV. We begin to reflect on the context of Social Pedagogy and its viability in society, after presenting the pedagogue as a professional who brings his duties and contributions from a vision that goes beyond educating, extending his mediations to Social Assistance, specifically the CRAS – Centro of Social Assistance Reference. The methodological option was bibliographical research, which allowed us to understand that the pedagogue has significant contributions at CRAS to the citizenship training of students, representing support for the team in overcoming social vulnerabilities and difficulties, through their socio-educational interventions. Social pedagogy is synonymous with struggle and resistance, and goes against authoritarian, centralizing, unethical, exclusionary historical-educational processes, based on meritocracy and alienation.
