O regime tributário especial do REPETRO, vigente desde 1999, vem despertando críticas e elogios, dada sua finalidade de fomentar uma maior concorrência entre produtores nacionais e os bens importados por intermédio de isenção fiscal e redução de ICMS para utilização na indústria de exploração e produção de petróleo, enquanto acumula desaprovação ao fazer crer que é um óbice à comercialização de peças e equipamentos nacionais devido à mesma falta de incentivos fiscais para a indústria interna. Com novas descobertas no setor, como o leilão do Campo de Libra do Pré-Sal, é necessária nova discussão sobre os aspectos e requerimentos para o deferimento do benefício, assim como sua prorrogação e suspensão, principalmente visando uma maior regulação do grande fluxo de custos e investimentos que estão por vir.Downloads
