Entendemos que a pandemia do Covid-19 contribuiu para inaugurar um novo capítulo na organização do sistema educacional brasileiro colocando em pauta a mescla de ensino presencial e não presencial. Desse modo, a partir da implantação do ensino remoto na rede municipal de educação de Niterói, recorremos a contribuição de Florestan Fernandes para pensar que o ensino não presencial pode ser problematizado por meio da ideia de modernização dependente. Nesse sentido, descrevemos aspectos presentes no processo de implantação do ensino remoto na rede municipal de Niterói e relatamos ideias presentes no debate sobre essa conjuntura em uma escola da rede, enfatizando o contexto da alfabetização dos alunos do primeiro ano do ensino fundamental. As iniciativas que foram tomadas para reorganizar o ano escolar de 2020 durante a pandemia, na referida rede de ensino, representam um passo a mais na incorporação das práticas educativas dos professores do país ao ambiente virtual e sociocultural de plataformas educacionais criadas pelos países hegemônicos.Downloads
