Abstract

This research aims to analyze, through the recovery of Lenin's concept of imperialism, with the aim of understanding the contemporary unfolding of the concept in the face of the intervention processes of International Organizations in the educational systems of the Global South. More specifically, we present PAT I in the Angolan educational context and examine how an instrument of hegemony interconnects humanitarian and anti-poverty discourses with the discourse of learning, governance and evaluation, anchored in education of results. The main results are the interests that International Organizations have in establishing a training model based on a certain type of workforce based on the so-called competence criteria, carried out between the Angolan government and the multilateral organization World Bank.
