The following paper is a translation of one of the most important texts written by Frenchwoman artist and writer Valentine de Saint-Point, named “Manifesto della Donna Futurista” (Manifest of the futurist woman). The manifest was originally written in 1912, after being spoken by Saint-Point in a conference which took place in Giroux Gallery, in Brussels, Belgium, and, afterwards, in Salle Gaveau, in Paris, France. It is a thought-provoking expression of the feminist and futurist desires, in the beginning of the 20th century, which highlights the importance of the woman as an agent for the construction of a new social and cultural order.
