About the Journal

Mural Internacional is an annual electronic journal of the Post-Graduate Program in International Relations at the Rio de Janeiro´s State University. The aim is to publish original academic articles, ongoing research, book reviews of the interest to the International Studies area and special contributions from the renamed academics in the field. The topic of the articles should be the object of research in International Relations in a broad sense, with the objective of adding innovative ideas to the current debates that are being developed in the International Studies. In this sense, Mural Internacional is committed to methodological, theoretical and ideological plurality. The period of our publication is annual, we invite every interested author to send their works at any time. The articles are published as soon as they go through the peer-review process. The submitted articles must be original, that means that it must have not been submitted to other publications of academic nature. The journal publishes articles and reviews in Portuguese, English, and Spanish that were about relevant topics in International Relations such as: international politics, foreign policies, international political economy, regionalism, international institutions, international migration processes, international cultural relations, theoretical and/or methodological and current topics of any specific region.

The journal is rated A3 on CAPES Qualis, base year 2021-2024. The Mural Internacional Review does not charge any fee to publish articles or reviews; the authors' opinion is not the current opinion of the journal or of the Post-Graduate Program teachers or authorities.
