Abstract

O estudo aborda dois poetas brasileiros que publicaram obras importantes durante o período da ditadura civil-militar: Ferreira Gullar e Francisco Alvim. Verificamos que a forma como ambos exprimiram os problemas políticos da sociedade brasileira mudou entre os anos 60 e os anos 70. Também observamos diferenças significativas entre eles quanto ao lugar e à variação da voz poética. Por fim, interessa-nos questionar, ainda que brevemente, as relações entre poesia e história, especialmente no que tange à poesia dita engajada.
