It has been more than forty years since the French National Front is recognized for being enticed in mammoth polemics while sitting on a secondary position within French politics. Nonetheless, from 2011 on an internal overhaul has begun in such party, culminating in significant electoral victories besides internal crises to be managed. What has caused this shift from a supporting actor to a leading one? This article aims to analyze two reasons that could explain the far right as a real political force in France.References
