Experiencing and learning: the care for disabled people contributing to the vocational training

This article aims at describing the experience of the monitors / students of the Education Program at Work / Caring Network for Disabled People at the State University Vale do Acaraú. The Program has been developed since August 2013 with 12 weekly working hours, eight dedicated to the preceptorship in service / community project, two for teaching and two for research. Pairs of Nursing and Physical Education students developed teaching-research-community project actions in the Rehabilitation Center Services, the Caring Services for Sobral Citizens, the Adapted Sport Project and the Primary Care, with the supervision of a preceptor. The interaction teaching-service-community program proposed was possible with the development of skills and competencies to the networking in the National Health System. These moments enabled experiences to students and learning of the health status of the population and occupations of each public service offered by the county.
