This project aims at the production and dissemination of knowledge and methodologies in the area of education and the prevention of oral, hearing and speech diseases through the creation of an educational tool in the health field. Through a partnership between UFRJ School of Dentistry and School of Medicine, educational material was created concerning the promotion of health for use by teenagers at public schools of Rio de Janeiro. During 2014, study groups were formed and they met weekly to discuss the proposals for new educational methods. The methodology for the creation of educational activities occurred through the use of discussion, whose principle was a critical look at reality. Among the material created, we emphasize an electronic method that was created through digital media (dialogue channel on YouTube) named "FalaMais-UFRJ", with a proposal for dissemination of knowledge through video with fun messages and accessible and updated language. It can be concluded that the process for creation and execution of the video assisted the trainees in the exchange of knowledge and appears to be an innovative way to acquire knowledge, with high potential for use by young people today. It is believed that such media can become a tool to aid the community in acquiring knowledge and doubts solution in oral, hearing and speech health.
