Abstract

The Covid-19 pandemic has brought enormous challenges to law enforcement officials, in the sense of developing solutions for maintaining procedural progress. Although a large part of the judicial processes were already being processed in electronic format, some acts were still carried out in person, such as hearings. The National Council of Justice instituted hearings by videoconference. However, case analysis suggests the need to improve these audiences. The purpose of this article is, through the empirical analysis of some cases reported in the media, to analyze the compatibility of the instructional and trial hearings with the due constitutional process.
