Abstract

The reading now carried out aims to unveil the memorialistic paths present in the narrative, mainly when analyzing the compositional structures of the text. Therefore, it is intended to observe the different strategies used by the writer that constitute the object, the book Tornado, by the mozambican writer Teresa Noronha (2021), repairing the way the character in first person is constituted as part of a conflicting world and permeated by prejudice. In the field of memory, the writer creates a spiral narrative that guides her reader through the comings and goings of a story gradually revealed to a brother. In this sense, there is the exploration of diverse spaces, but centered in the memory of the character, who sets in a place wanders through countries and continents to access his memories.
