Abstract

This paper presents a possibility of bringing children closet to Brazilian popular art, through a ludic approach, using artifacts such as the frowns (carrancas) of the São Francisco River, the focus of the experiment reported here, which includes outreaching program of the Universidade Federal Fluminense whose goal is to create innovative ways to work on heritage education.
