This article explores the emergence of a synthetic reality, a new stage in the relationship between humans and technology, in which the boundaries between the natural and the artificial, the physical and the virtual, progressively dissolve. Starting from the historical and conceptual legacy of Ettore Majorana, whose theories anticipated the quantum principles that now underpin computational innovation, the paper examines the transition from binary to quantum logic as a turning point in the production of reality itself. Through an exploratory and deductive approach, the first section analyzes datafication and the rise of synthetic information as structural phenomena shaping digital environments. The second section discusses quantum computing as a technological and ontological shift that redefines the very notion of information and causality. Finally, the third section reflects on the implications of this transformation for Law, arguing that the emergence of synthetic reality demands new normative and ethical foundations capable of addressing indeterminacy, distributed agency, and the legitimacy of decisions produced by non-human systems.
