El siguiente texto sistematiza los principales aspectos abordados en la conferencia inaugural dictada por su autor en el Primer Seminario Latinoamericano Debatiendo la Derivación del Estado: Contribuciones a la Economía Política de la Salud y del Trabajo, realizado entre el 16 y el 20 de septiembre de 2024 en la Facultad de Salud Pública y en la Facultad de Derecho de la Universidad de São Paulo, Brasil.
