Resumo

O artigo objetiva entender o papel da sexualidade nas agências punitivas a partir da análise de casos extraídos de processos criminais de pessoas identificadas como LGBT no Complexo do Curado (PE). Os processos convergem em narrativas nas quais o sistema de justiça utiliza ou legitima a utilização de práticas sexuais como dispositivos de criminalização e constituem prescrições estatais que inscrevem a sexualidade na delinquência.

Abstract

This article aims to comprehend sexuality’s role in the punitive agencies through the analysis of cases extracted from criminal procedures of people identified as LGBT from the Complexo do Curado (PE). The procedures converge in narratives in which the justice system utilizes or legitimizes the usage of sexual practices as dispositives of punishment and constitutes state prescriptions that inscribe sexuality in delinquency.
