Abstract
Among the innumerable misunderstandings about the Marxian work and the theory linked to the Marxist field is the idea that the individual is not present. By turning to the great narratives, to the functioning of the capitalist mode of production, to social classes and to the ideology of social revolution, Marxism would be underestimating - or even ignoring - subjectivities. Given this historical controversy, this article will seek to point out clues to the understanding of the individual in Marx and in the Marxist field, repositioning the dialogue between Marxism and psychology. To revisit the ontology of the social being and the work category, they are indispensable.
